Last week, I was invited to come experience a few days at Fairmont Mayakoba in the Mayan Riviera. The resort was a little slice of paradise and our itinerary was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, the yummiest meals & cocktails, and of course, a little shopping! Scroll on for more about the trip, plus head to my Instagram story highlights for a room tour, to see the insanely good piece I found while shopping, and to catch all the fun!
I was so excited to have my bestie on the trip with me! We could not get enough of the pool situation on the resort. There are several, including one for adults only. All chic af.
The beach was pristine and the water was a beautiful turquoise that faded into blue. There’s also a bar right on the beach—the perfect excuse to drink their signature Mezcalitas all day!
We were treated to the resort’s all-inclusive offering, however it’s not mandatory. Unlike other all-inclusive resorts that might cut corners, since it’s an optional offering and there isn’t a separate menu, the food is top notch everywhere you go!
The entrance to our room…the leafy landscaping was just lovely.
The resort is surrounded by nature at its finest. For a little taste of adventure, we toured the mangroves by boat. Waterfalls, turtles, and crocodiles were just a few sightings along the way.
Ice cream on the beach? Perfection! And the perfect photo opp!
My favorite outing on the trip was an afternoon treat on Mayakoba’s yacht. It was straight out of a Bond flick—think striking black with Hermes orange seats, and accented with bohemian style pillows and towels. The yacht is exclusive to guests and private parties, so it’s perfect for groups or families with something to celebrate. Don’t forget a flowy dress for photos on the deck!
And while you’re there, don’t forget to stop by El Pueblito. It’s a traditional Mexican square filled with shops and the most beautiful chapel. I found an amazing caftan while searching for treasures there!
Hasta luego, Mexico!
My stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was gifted, however all opinions are my own.
I love your coverage of your stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba. I have an special anniversary coming up next year and I want to book a stay there.
